We are all celebrating at the creamery after our Classic Blue Stilton was crowned overall winner, out of approximately 750 cheeses, at the Great Yorkshire Show this week! Just last month we also scooped the Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards with our Blue Shropshire cheese.
Speaking about the awards Director, Robin Skailes, said:
"We are exceptionally proud of this achievement. To win Supreme Champion once in a season, or indeed a decade, is a huge honour. To win this title twice in one summer is almost unheard of. We know that our traditional recipes and artisan techniques allow us to make great cheese, but we are so proud to have this recognised at such a high level. It's really fantastic for our team to have their hard work rewarded in this way."
